A space for breath, movement, and growth
"Timshel" — Thou mayest. The gift of choice.
We create a sanctuary where ancient wisdom meets modern practice
Timshel Yoga Center is a space created to spread the light of yoga.
Today we want to welcome everyone who has chosen to practice yoga — a journey of self-development and transformation. We know this is a special moment, because you are committing to a process of self-discovery, dedication, care for your health, and connection between mind, soul, and body.
In yoga, we acquire life values, cultivate healthy habits, emotional stability, and an open heart. We move, we chant, we pray, we stretch, we breathe, we challenge, we accept, we assimilate, we remember, we connect — we learn to listen to our bodies and our hearts.
It is an honor and an inspiration for us, on behalf of the Timshel team, to share with you that which has deeply blessed our lives.
Yoga Etiquette
Welcome to Timshel Yoga Studio! We created this etiquette guide as an invitation to build a harmonious and inspiring environment together, where everyone can feel welcome. Here you will find information to help you feel comfortable and confident during your first practice.
We recommend arriving a little early to introduce yourself to your teacher. This way we can welcome you personally. Please share your yoga experience, as well as any injuries, discomfort, or other concerns. All information remains confidential and helps us adapt the practice to your needs.
To preserve the calm atmosphere, please turn off your mobile devices and put them away. This time is just for you.
We respect the need for tranquility. Before and after class, we speak softly, and during practice we remain fully with ourselves. Of course, if questions arise during class, don't hesitate to ask them.
Arrange your mat with consideration for the other participants. When the room is full, we organize ourselves so that everyone has space.
Clean your mat and return the props (blocks, straps, blankets) to their places.
